Maria A. Barker of West Bloomfield, NY died Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Highland Hospital. She was 77. She was born the daughter of Jon and Maria Brusee Anceaux on January 2, 1933 in Dansville, NY. She is survived by her husband, Jack R. Barker ; children, John C. (Elizabeth) Barker of Quechie, VT, James R. (Jolanda) Ryan-Barker of Rhinebeck, NY, Beth E. Carr of Avon, NY, Wayne W. Barker of New York City ; 6 grandchildren; cousin, Curt and Jane Barker.
Maria was a graduate of Webster Central School and Fingerlakes Community College. She retired from FLCC Drama Department in 1994. She enjoyed crafts, arts, sewing, church, canoeing and going up to their camp at Wanakena, NY.
No prior calling. Friends may attend Services, Sunday, July18, 2010 at 2 pm at the W. Bloomfield Congregational Church, 9035 Routes 5 & 20. Private burial, North Bloomfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Oncology Department at Highland Hospital, 1000 South Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.
