Lois M. Yorks Desmann of Honeoye Falls died, July 25, 2010 age 89, peacefully at the Teresa House in Geneseo. Lois was born March 21, 1921 in West Bloomfield, NY, the daughter of Warner and Maryetta Ingraham Yorks. She was predeceased by her husband, Dean in 2007. She is survived by her sister, Florence Morley of Tampa, FL; nieces and nephews, including Les (Elizabeth) Desmann of Lima, NY; many dear friends and her friends and staff at Pinehurst Senior Living Community in Honeoye Falls.
There will be no prior calling. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 11 am at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, Rev. Matthew French officiating. Burial will be held in North Bloomfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Road, Geneseo, NY 14454 or the Honeoye Falls United Methodist Church, East Street, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472.
