Obituary of Helen A. Will

Helen A. Will of Honeoye Falls and formerly of Flushing, NY, died Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at Highland Hospital at the age of 94. She was born the daughter of Joseph and Anna Pitonik Pavlik on October 24, 1914 in Astoria, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Henry B. Will and son Victor H. Will. She is survived by her daughter Pamela (Helen Pamela) of Honeoye Falls; daughter in law, Valerie Will of Martinsville, NJ; granddaughter, Regina N. Will of Arlington, VA; grandson, Matthew V. Will of King of Prussia, PA; sister, Margaret S. Taylor of Orange, CT. She had a long and fulfilling life. She worked and retired from the Equitable Life Assurance Company in Manhattan, NY where she was a personnel manager. She enjoyed working and being among people and went on to hold several part time positions until she fully retired at the age of 82. Her loves were gardening and knitting. As a member of the Perinton Seniors and the Pinnacle Lutheran Ladies Group, she knitted and crocheted children's hats, mitten, scarves, adult afghans, and newborn baby hats for distribution to hospitals and schools throughout the Rochester area. She was Secretary for the Honeoye Falls-Mendon Seniors Club in recent years. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 26, 2009 at 11 am at the All Seasons Chapel at Whitehaven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
