Obituary of Helen F Brassie

Helen Brassie (Holdsworth) of Mendon passed away on Thursday December 10, 2015, surrounded by her family at Benincasa Hospice Home in Mendon, NY. Helen was the oldest of 5 Children born to Chester and Leila Holdsworth in Rochester NY. She Married Lawrence Brassie on November 27th, 1954. Helen was a long time member of the Mendon homemakers. She enjoyed her family, the Buffalo Bills, and her favorite past time was quilting. Helen is survived by her brother, Ted Holdsworth. Her children, Michael, Catherine Parrish (Norman), Rick (Lori), Laurie Brassie-Quartaro (Michael), Mark (Sue), David (Kristine), Scott (Tracy). Son in law Terry Parrish. Grandchildren John, Ethan, Chet, Lukas, Emma, Morgan, Chloe, David, Christopher, Matthew. Several sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 60 years Lawrence Brassie. Her brothers Edwin, Richard, Robert and her grandson Patrick Riley Parrish. Friends will be received at the Merton H. Keys Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe St. Honeoye Falls on Sunday December 13, 2015 from 1-4 pm. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am at St. Catherine of Siena, 26 Mendon-Ionia Road, Mendon, NY.
