Obituary of Margaret E. Chace

Livonia: Margaret E. Chace , age 88, of Livonia and formerly of Greenwood, died on January 1 2016 at Guthrie-Corning Hospital. Predeceased by husbands Wilson Woodworth and Donald Chace. Also predeceased by grand-daughter, Vicki Baker, great-grandaughter, Amber Quick, step-father and mother, John and Florence Kramarik, brothers Jesse Scott, Frank Kramarik and sisters Rhoda Scott and Pauline (Frank) Bentley. Survived by her children, Larry (Sharon) Woodworth of Mt. Morris, Jerel (Brenda) Woodworth, of Greenwood, Karen Mullen (Julius Cerrillo) of Rexville, Lisa Mallaber (Michael) of Livonia,16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Also, survived by brother, Robert (Geraldine) Kramarik, of Elmira, NY, sister-in-law, Patricia Scott of Lillington, NC and many nieces and nephews. ‘Maggie’ was born on February 27, 1927 in Rexville, NY to parents Jesse and Florence (Hurd) Scott. She was retired from Alfred University where she worked in the bakery for 15 years after owning a dairy farm for many years. Maggie will always be remembered for her fabulous cooking and gardening abilities. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Steuben Center in Bath, NY and especially grand-daughter, Shannon Quick for her selfless and tireless care over the past few years. A Celebration of Life Mass will be held at St. Matthew Catholic Church 6591 Richmond Mills Road, Livonia on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 10:30 am.
