Obituary of Charles M. Lord

Charles M. Lord of Coral Springs, Florida and formerly of Honeoye Falls, died Saturday, June 18, 2016 in Florida at the age of 91. Charlie was born October 23, 1924 in Mendon Center, NY the son of Charles W. and Ethyl A. Goff Lord. He retired from General Electric in 1985, where he was an engineer. Charlie was Merchant Marine from 1945 to 1946 and participated last month in the Honor Flight to Washington, DC. He was predeceased by his wife Renee Potvin Lord and daughter Barbara Lord Ward. He is survived by his sons, Gregory Lord, Terry (Mary) Lord, Michael Lord and Kevin (Gail) Lord; 8 grandchildren Greg (Jeanine) Lord, Jr., Joshua (Staci) Lord, Charlene (Bob) Sawyer, Christopher (Maria) Lord, Gwendolyn Lord, Rachel Ward, David Ward and Christopher Ward;7 great grandchildren, Elizabeth Sawyer, Brittany Lord Danus, Amanda Lord, Justin Lord, Joshua Lord II, Kylie Lord and Brady Lord; 2 great great grandchildren, Rylee Danus and Jameson Danus; brother, Ronald (Lynn Quinlan) Lord; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday, July 1, 2016 from 11am to 12:30 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, followed by a Graveside Service at 1 pm in Honeoye Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Honor Flight South Florida, P.O.
