Phil was an honor student at the Peddie School and also a talented athlete. He helped the football team go undefeated in the fall of 1970 and was a good heavyweight wrestler -- a clear example of the scholar/athlete.

Sad day - another warrior from the class of '71 passes. Phil was one of our quiet leaders - he led by example - rarely missed a practice or a play in a game -- inner toughness helped lead the team to an UNDEFEATED CHAMPIONSHIP - NOBODY could beat us that season - and for that all your teammates will be eternally grateful. We also lost one of our so-captains. Billy Means, several month ago ---miss you guys. Someday maybe the team will all be together so to lace-up and get in full battle-rattle again. To my classmates, teammates and friends -- Phil & Billy -- REST EASY. Steve Plunkett - '71 - co-captain of the BEST team in the tri-state area!!!

Dear Connie, I’m so very sorry for your tremendous loss. You may recall that one of your sons was a ‘big’ to my son Kevin. Your family has always been wonderful members of our community. May your memories bring you comfort and may you be surrounded by love. Sincerely, Shari Stottler
