My sincere condolences to Paul’s family . I used to work summers with Paul assisting him with his landscaping business when I was at Nazareth in 1996. I moved back to Cortland in 1999 and we lost touch. Ironically I was in Victor today for my cousin’s funeral. I decided to google Paul as I was thinking of him and was stunned to see his obituary. May he rest in peace and I hope you all are doing well today. John State

I just heard about this. I'm so very sorry. Paul would make me laugh and smile everytime I seen him which was mainly at his favorite fish fry place. I always had to tell him when he walked through the door. ...welcome to crabby Dan's Paul. Good guy.

Our family's thoughts are with you and your family. We express the greatest sympathy. Please know we are thinking fondly of Paul and our childhood together. I believe Paul would agree that Ionia was a special place and we were fortunate to have had the opportunity to share some of our formative years in that unique community.

I loved working side by side with my brother. Today I pinched the chainsaw (yet again) cutting a downed tree and I could hear Paul telling me how to cut it better the next time.

I am so sorry to hear of Paul’s untimely passing. I will miss our annual catch-up’s in the beer tent at Mendon Fireman’s carnival. Prayers and condolences to the entire Del Vecchio family.

Paul was a kind and gentle soul with a playful disposition. It was plain to see that he genuinely loved life and being around friends and loved ones. Paul’s presence will be dearly missed, (especially at the Mendon Carnival). It is difficult for me to recollect an interaction with Paul that I wasn’t met with that trademark grin on his face. Paul’s sunny disposition and easy laugh made it a joy to be around him. We love you Paul and will keep your memory alive in our hearts forever.

It had to be about 1988/89 and we were celebrating something at the old house down the street. I still remember the white, with slim vertical spring colored stripes, shirt and short set I was wearing, that's how impactful this moment in time is to me. Back then I did not handle family gatherings or opening up to people so well. I was standing in the driveway with my brother, talking to Justin and Paul, and I can hear Paul telling me to "maybe just lighten up a little". Paul brightened up everyone's life that he touched, we are all better human beings because of his influence.

Paul will be very missed around Nazareth. He always had a smile to share, and was such a bright light when we saw him. I always enjoyed our talks, and knew when we asked him to do something it would be done right! Thank you Paul, for all the years of camaraderie.
