Obituary of Shirley L. Miller

Shirley L. Miller of Henrietta passed away February 17, 2025, at the age of 97. She was born the daughter of the late Leo and Mae Tyler Long on June 20, 1927 in Rochester, NY. Shirely  was predeceased by her husband Everett L. Miller.

Shirley loved the Lord, family, friends and animals. She was a positive, peaceful woman who listened to and understood others. She had many talents: seamstress, baker, cook and gardener to name a few. Shirley worked for many of her years at Mathews & Fields Lumber Co. in Henrietta. She was a long time member of the Henrietta United Church of Christ.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Marilyn (Steven) Enos, son Glenn E. (Jeannine) Miller. 4 grandchildren, Glenn "GR" Miller, Nichole Enos, Kristin Enos and Sean Enos. 1 great grandchild Caydan Enos. Many nieces and nephews.  Her beloved animals, Savanna and Bella.  

No prior calling. Friends may attend a Celebration of Shirley's Life on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11 am at the Henrietta United Church of Christ, 1400 Lehigh Station Road, Henrietta, NY. Following her service, all are welcome to the Ely Fagan Stevens Connor American Legion Post 1151, 260 Middle Road, Henrietta to share memories with her family and enjoy refreshments and lunch.
