Mendy if you could read this I'd want you know how much I appreciated your friendship. We love you and your family. Thank you so much for planning Naomi's baby shower, and doing kind things like bringing me flowers on my birthday. You were the first one outside the family to hold Naomi. We always had such a fun time when you all would come over or when we brought all the kids to the park. Even after we moved you kept in touch and I always loved hearing from you. I will miss being able to talk and send pictures of the kids. I am sad that I won't see you again in this lifetime but I know some day we will be together with Jesus. Praise God I know that full well. Miss you and see you again.

My memory of Mendy as a little girl. She was sweet & loved. When my husband Dave and I left First church, Decatur, Illinois with our children to go to St Peters Missouri, Mendy would have been 15. I'm so glad to know she was such a witness to her family. Although we grieve that Mendy's life was short, I'm so very glad she is in the presence of Jesus. Our condolences to Dan & children even though I never met them. Also, to Jeannie, Larry & all the siblings.
