I had the very great pleasure of working with Edmund through Troop 10 Boy Scouts. A true gentleman.

Angelika, Christoph, and Stefan
Beth and I were sorry to hear of Edmund’s passing. We met Edmund as a scout leader in Troop 10 and spent time camping with him. One of my fondest memories was spending time at Camp Russell, with Edmund in charge of the kitchen preparing great meals for dozens of boys.
I do a lot of biking and wish I had a chance to bike with Edmund. I know Edmund was very proud of Christoph and Stefan for both earning their Eagle Scout
Our condolences

It was such a blessing to meet Edmund at the Lean Six Sigma group at Xerox. I was this young guy from Germany and it felt good to have Edmung around. He had a big heart and was always there when I needed something. We kept in touch over the years and I visited him after my trip through Latin America and again in 2017 when I toured the US for business with my wife.
May you rest in peace dear Edmund. You are not forgotten.

I will forever cherish the memory of my dear friend, Edmund. We shared many impactful LSS classes together in Latin America. I fondly recall his ever-present stick, a tool he expertly used to guide students through lessons on screen. Beyond the classroom, we explored various places in Mexico, enjoying wonderful meals and creating lasting memories. He was a truly good friend. My deepest condolences go out to his family, and a warm embrace to Angelica. May he rest in peace.

I met Edmund when he was a coach for me during my endeavors to become a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in Rochester.
We immediately had a bond that lasted for many years.
Angelika and he invited me into their lovely home during the weekends before my training where we discussed all sorts of topics. They even facilitated a mountain bike for me to cycle near their house and took me to visit Niagara Falls.
Years later my wife and I visited and stayed at their home during our road trip through the eastern USA.
Again they gave us a warm welcome and we had great fun catching up.
The last time we saw each other was when he and Angelika visited Amsterdam where we met up and had a wonderful lunch.
As I have not been on Facebook for the past couple of years we sort of lost sight of each other.
This morning I logged in to erase the profile for my mother in law (who passed a few weeks ago) and saw yesterday's post of Edmunds obituary. What a shock and strange twist of faith.
I am glad I did.
What a sad message to receive about a distant friend, but I really will remember his warm and hospitable character.
I wish his family all the best and hope they are able to celebrate his life through all the sadness. May he rest in peace.

Back on July 10, 2010 Edmund was with two of his friends and I think his brother stayed at our house as Warmshowers Guests. . They were riding their bikes around Lake Ontario for a charity. I think for a High School. His bike looks really load down with packs and a trailer. He’s walking to leave our house with my wife. Rest in Piece Edmund.

Napp family, we are so sorry for your loss. Edmund has been such a kind, and supportive family friend. He has been an amazing father in law to my sister and grandparent to my nephews. Thinking of you and sending love during this difficult time.
