Obituary of Evelyn R. Sage

Evelyn Ruth Sage (Sissy) of Honeoye went peacefully at home after a long battle of pancreatic cancer on October 22, 2025. She was 64 years old. She was the daughter of the late Russell Sage (2008) and Maryanna Garling Sage (2010) of West Bloomfield.

She is survived by her two bothers, Ronald (Suzette) Sage of Honeoye and Glenn (Marcia) Simpson of Sodus, New York; her amazing nephew Kevin (Brittney) Sage of Honeoye. She also had two great nephews, Kayden Dykman and Logan Dykman in Colorado; Robbie Hickson and Hailey Sage of Honeoye!! Along with many loving cousins, other family and friends.

She was a member of her graduating Class of 1979 of Bloomfield. She was also a long time member of the Ladies Auxiliary Club for West Bloomfield Fire Department. She was a frequent visitor at Finger Lakes Gaming and Casino. In her recent years she enjoyed doing her Diamond Paintings and helping with The Free Little Pantry-Honeoye.

Friends and Family may call Wednesday October 29th 2025 from 4-7pm at Merton H. Kay's Funeral Home Inc, 59 Monroe Street Honeoye-Falls NY. A brief service and burial will be held on October 30th 2025, at 1pm, at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lima, following a reception at Little Lakes Church in Honeoye, GPS shows a Livonia address which is correct.
