Obituary of Steven M. Rousos

Steven Michael Rousos, 72, of Henrietta passed away suddenly on November 20, 2025.

Steven was born in Rochester, NY to parents Marie and Milton Rousos. After high school Steven served in the US Army. He then obtained a bachelor's degree in computer science from SUNY Brockport. He had a successful career working with companies including Xerox, Oracle, and Kana.

Steven had a strong Christian faith. He loved to be in nature and enjoyed hiking and bike riding. He was a fan of classic rock and folk music, and enjoyed playing the guitar. Steven also loved politics, especially Democratic causes and often described himself as a political influencer, inspiring spirited discussions among friends and family. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, dining out, supporting his adored granddaughter Norah, and being with his beloved dog Charley.

Steven is predeceased by his parents, Marie and Milton Rousos. He is survived by daughter Jennifer (Robert) Panik, granddaughter Norah Panik, former wife and friend Erin Denham, sister Linda Zion of Atlanta GA, sister Rhonda Rousos of St. Petersburg FL, niece Julianne (Robert) Chabot, nephews Michael and Mark (Joy) Zion, dear friends, and beloved dog Charley.

A private burial and celebration of life will be scheduled in December. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Foodlink or Lollypop Farm.
