Obituary of Patricia L. Alfieri
Patricia DiCesare Alfieri (Patty), a devoted wife, mother, loving grandmother, great grandmother and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025, at the age of 84.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Theodore L. Alfieri, and her beloved sister, Donna Berback. She is survived by her children David (Beckie) Alfieri, Harborcreek, PA; Thomas (Jill) Alfieri, Sioux Falls, SD; James (Pennie) Alfieri, Henrietta, NY; Karen (Dan) Connor, Saylorsburg, PA; Barbara (Paul) Domville, Lima, NY; and her brother, Ed (Carol) DiCesare, Hilton, NY. Grandchildren, Michael (Kendra) Alfieri, Meghan (Ryan) Dursin, Ashley Alfieri, Sara (Matt) Komendat, Zachary Connor, Abraham (Ryann) Alfieri, Madeline (Luke) Wlasniewski, Teddy Alfieri and 7 great grandchildren along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Patty was born on December 9, 1941, in Rochester, NY. She dedicated her life to caring for those she loved. Her greatest joy was her family, and she poured her heart into being a constant source of love, strength and encouragement.
Patty was especially gifted with her hands. She loved sewing, quilting, knitting and cooking--often creating beautiful handmade items and comforting meals that will be cherished for generations. An avid reader, she found joy and inspiration in books and never lost her love of learning. She and Ted enjoyed spending time at their home in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and traveling from Alaska to Australia and many places in between.
Patty began working in the HF-L school district in 1968 and continued working, moving to the Fairport school district until her retirement in the mid-1990s.
Patty was a part of the Honeoye Falls Community Players and choreographed musicals at HF-L and Fairport High Schools. She is remembered for her radiant smile, talent and loving demeanor.
The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at St. John's Home. A service to Celebrate Patty's life will be at the convenience of the family.
Patty will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her.
