Glenn, a dear friend to us and our family for over 50 years. He loved our children Kristen and Nikki, often saying they were the closest he had to children of his own. To them, he was “Uncle Glenn”, and one of their biggest supporters. He was there for all the special moments: school activities, concerts, graduations, weddings, and he never missed an opportunity to stop by on his way home for a quick game of “flip-overs” or flip your eyelids inside out. Glenn was a once-in-a-life-time friend, the kind that would do anything for you. More appropriately, he and his wife Barb were our family, and he loved us fiercely. An advocate of adventure, music and fitness, he kept us busy with bikes rides, cross-country skiing (even on the coldest of days), weightlifting, and beautiful afternoons boating at the cottage on Conesus Lake. We have so many memories of evenings around a campfire, nice dinners out, and multiple family gatherings and being “Night Owel” Groupies. He always had a joke to tell, he loved to make you laugh. He was a true friend and admired beyond words. He will be sadly missed.
We love you Glenn!

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Glen.
He was a great guy and a pleasure to work with.
While I served with the RPD - we all worked so closely together.

I was very sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. Although he was on the Sheriff's Department and I was with the R.P.D., after we retired from law enforcement, we worked together for AMRIC Security. He was a great guy to work with, and a long time ARPALER member. He will be missed by all who knew and worked with him.

Glenn was a wonderful friend and mentor to me. Took me on my very first ride along when I was a trainee in 1982. We played several rounds of golf together over the years and lost several bets to him along the way. He will be missed by many but especially by me,

It is so sad to hear of Glenn's passing. He was one of my training officers back in 1973 when I was a recruit with the sheriff's office. Glenn was such an extremely dedicated member of our law enforcement community and he treated everyone with the utmost respect. Over the past year, Glenn, myself and other retired members of law enforcement have met for breakfast where we discussed our past experiences and Glenn always had interesting stories to tell. He will be sorely missed. God Bless Glenn and his family.

Very sorry to hear of this development. While I never had the pleasure to work directly with or for Glenn, I played some golf with him back in the day and he was not only a good player, but such a perfect fit for the gentlemen's game. I always heard great things about him from others in our profession as well. May he rest in peace...

Sincere condolences and sympathy to Glenn's relatives. I first met Glenn at the Gene Shaw Memorial Golf Tournament. His golf prowess was readily apparent and far exceeded mine. I got to know him quite well and appreciated his great personality. Eventually I ended up working for him at Rush Range for 20 years. Rest in Peace Glenn reunited with Barb.

I want to extend my sincere condolences to the Marcus Family for your loss. Glenn was a good friend and was excellent Law enforcement Officer for the MCSO. I got to know Glen when he worked at the Rush range, and we would exchange information on different bands and songs. Glenn will be missed but not forgotten. God Bless the Marcus Family and prayers will be said for strength during this challenging time.

I have known Glenn for over 50 years. My fondest memories are of us being golf partners in the New York Police Olympics. We were fortunate to win numerous medals in the 70’s and 80’s. Glenn was one of the good guys in both work and play. He will be missed.
