This was the day I somehow convinced my Dad, who was a hardcore NY Giants fan, to put on a Bills hoodie. He probably wouldn’t be happy I’m sharing this publicly. Sorry, Dad. :)

He was my 6th-grade teacher, and I still remember the life lessons he shared with us. His influence reached far beyond the classroom, and his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched. My deepest condolences to his family.

I'm so sorry to hear of Bill passing! I always looked forward to our interactions at Jimmy's Garage. Bill is a special kind of guy. Rest in peace and may the memories of him give your family comfort in this difficult time.

I came to school wearing a Buffalo Bills sweatshirt a day after they had lost. He convinced me to turn it inside out and show it to Mr. Zambito. Almost 50 years later still makes me laugh. Loved seeing Mr. Shaffer at my football games both as a player and coach. You will be missed but memories will last forever. RIP Mr. Shaffer.
