From walking circles around MCC to walking circles around RFD, I always loved chatting it up with Al. He was a devoted firefighter fitness participant and advocate, and an even more devoted and proud husband, dad, and grandad. I will miss our chats but know your place prepared for you was ready. Sending love to Nancy, Dale, and the rest of the Sweet family. ❤️

Al was one of a kind. He so loved the parades and the music they provided. I go back to the days when one Fire Dept Band would play for two and maybe three Fire Departments during the same parade. Al was so excited for his Fire Dept to finally have their own Band in all the parades. You’ll be missed Al… Ron Kindred

Al was such a fun person to be with. He was the heart & soul of the Rush Fire Department Band. He so enjoyed the music we provided both on the street and in the beer tent. So glad some of the old timers showed up at this years carnival to play in the beer tent one last time for Al.
Al, you will be missed, but never forgotten….
Rest in Peace,
Denny Kindred
