Lucy was a wonderful wife and incredibly supportive to her husband Gary in Industrial Real Estate for over 40 years. She and Gary met at RIT where she received her degree in Business/Marketing.
She had an amazing talent and love for Christian music. Lucy performed many Christian solos for local churches and nursing homes and sang in choirs. In addition, she performed in plays at Nazareth Arts Center. Also, she had a love for Opera music.
Lucy taught computer software on various applications at the Rochester Museum and Science Center to adults for several years.
She had an amazing gift for understanding and knowledge of the bible. Lucy and Gary after several years of education, graduated from Elim Bible College at Global University in Springfield, Missouri.
Lucy grew up in the city of Rochester but truly loved the country. She and her husband took many field trips on weekends in NYS parks.
Lucy loved long walks at Mendon Ponds Park for several hours during all types of weather. She and Gary would dress in snow suits and walk for several hours in harsh winters and loved it.
Lucy loved shopping as most women do. Her favorite store was Talbots in Pittsford. Lucy's favorites include: she loved to dance to Disco music, Barbara Streisand music, Liza Minnelli musicals, tv shows Hogan's Heroes, and Wagon Train. Lucy and Gary did everything together. After they met at RIT and fell in love, they were a match made in Heaven. They were married for 48 years as of this September 2026.
Lucy and Gary started a photo card ministry called "God's Beauty" that they created and distributed to over 900 nursing homes within the United States amounting to over 1 million cards nationwide. With her special gift/talent of the bible, she wrote a special message and selection of an appropriate scripture and picture for the occasion. It was a mission that was to bring God's Beauty of real-life nature photography and the word of God to shut-ins, specifically to nursing home residents.
This last Christmas she and Gary achieved mailing cards to every Certified State Veterans Nursing Homes and many regular nursing homes in the USA, including Hawaii and Alaska, totaling over 80,000 Christmas cards.
It's purely amazing and beyond belief what God can accomplish thru a wonderful Godly person. Through many difficult trials in her life, she was one amazing individual. Through these trials, Lucy maintained being cheerful, and compassionate and was uplifting to others, especially to her husband and family. Now she is with her maker and creator in Heaven. She will be incredibly missed. She will now continue her Godly abilities with our almighty and most sovereign God in Heaven. Amen.
