Mary Goulding Tichenor

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing Mary Goulding Tichenor who departed this life on February 14, 2026 at the age of 89.

Mary Goulding Tichenor was born on November 19, 1936 in Albany, New York to John Robert and Mary Margaret Mulligan Goulding. Mary was the General Manager/Owner of Tichenor Furniture Services with her husband Paul S. Tichenor. Mary was active in the Mendon Republican Party, the Women's Auxiliary, and the Mendon Garden Club. Mary and Paul loved to entertain and were well known for their yearly New Years party.

She was preceded in death by her husband Paul S. Tichenor (2009) and her sister Grace Goulding (1985).

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Paul of the Cross, 31 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, NY. Mary will be buried in St Paul of the Cross Cemetery alongside her husband Paul and sister Grace.

Mary will be remembered for her kindness and generous spirit.
