Faye Jean Gibbs-Lioy passed away on February 23rd, surrounded by love, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Faye was a deeply devoted mother, a source of strength, and a light in the lives of all who knew her. Her love was steady, selfless, and unconditional; something her family will carry with them forever. While her absence leaves an immeasurable void, her spirit remains present in the hearts of those who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Lioy, her brother Elmer Gibbs Jr., and her parents, Pauline and Elmer Gibbs Sr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Taylor Ramia (Lioy) and Joseph Ramia, her soon-to-be-born grandson, Roman Ramia, her long-time partner, Rick German, and her siblings Regina Loth, Lucinda Countryman, Brian Gibbs, Darcy Batzold, Laurie Ardieta, Leonora Kaldas, and Pamela Kane, along with several nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her strength, compassion, and courage. Her life was a testament to love, and that love will never fade.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 25th, at Merton H. Kays Funeral Home. In honoring Faye's memory, those who knew her are encouraged to hold their loved ones a little closer and carry forward the kindness she embodied.
