Donald Menz, 78, of Honeoye Falls, passed away on April 14, 2026. Born on October 28, 1947, Donald grew up in Honeoye Falls, graduating with the Class of 1965.

He served his country with honor as a Captain in the United States Army and as an Airborne Ranger. After active duty, he continued his service in the Army Reserves. Donald later pursued his passion for learning at Cornell University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1979.

In 1977, Donald married the love of his life, Suzanne, and together they built a life full of love, laughter, and shared adventures. A devoted father, he was deeply proud of his sons, David and Eric. In 2001, Donald became a small business owner, approaching this new chapter with the same dedication and integrity that marked every aspect of his life.

Donald was a dedicated member of the American Legion for over 25 years and became active in the American Legion Riders, reflecting his lifelong commitment to service and camaraderie. Known for his generosity and reliability, Donald could always be counted on to lend a hand, offer guidance, or simply be there for those who needed him. He loved traveling, exploring new places, and the freedom of riding his motorcycle, embracing life with curiosity and joy.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Suzanne; his sons, David and Eric; his brothers, Wayne and Roger; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Donald will be remembered not only for his service and entrepreneurial spirit but for the warmth, kindness, and unwavering love he shared with family, friends, and his community. His generosity, sense of adventure, and steadfast heart left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Military Honors will take place at 2:00 at the Honeoye Falls Veterans Memorial, 167 N. Main street, Honeoye Falls, NY on Wednesday, April 22nd. Calling hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 at Merton H.
