Dearest Pieter: we are devastated at the incomprehensible loss of your beloved Mother. We know how you two were the not only Mother and Son, but the very best of friends too and that this loss will be felt so deeply by you and all that loved Carol. Know that your Newfoundland family loves you and that we are with you in spirit during this terribly tough time of loss and grief. Remember that all the love your mother gave you and the love that you shared is still with you and will always be. You are the wonderful person and friend that you are because of her love. So, to Carol, we say a million thank yous for the gift that is you. We are remembering your family at this time, too, and sending our condolences and love.
