Obituary of Abigail D. Wastowicz

Abigail "Abby" Dawn Wastowicz passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 51 at Strong Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. Abby graduated from Big Spring High School in PA in 1990. She then attended Albany College of Pharmacy where she graduated in 1995. While attending college she met the Love of her life Dave. Abby and Dave married in 1996 and spent a total of 30 years together. Abby practiced as a pharmacist after college until 6 years ago when she was in a car accident and was no longer able to practice. Abby Loved being a pharmacist and helping people. She touched and helped many lives as a pharmacist. It was very hard for her when she could no longer practice. Abby, while she was still able to, enjoyed many activities. Some of her favorite things were ATVing (she loved to get Muddy!!), hiking, going to the beach, going on vacations, and cheering on her sons as they competed in sports at school. Most of all Abby just enjoyed spending time with her family. Abby Loved her family more than anything in her life and there was nothing she would not do for them. Her family will greatly miss her and cherish her always. Abby leaves behind her husband Dave of 27 years and her 2 sons Xander and Gabe: her parents Fred and Nancy Klages and 2 sisters Connie and Julie: Her Tom in-laws Tom and Mary Wastowicz, sister-in-law Laura and her niece Kayla, as well as other relatives. Calling Hours will be held at Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street in Honeoye Falls on Saturday 11/18 from 1-3pm with a service to follow at 3pm. A reception for family and friends will be held at the Mendon Fire Hall following the service.
