Obituary of S. Jean Miller

Shirlee "Jean" Miller formerly of Rush, Henrietta and Honeoye passed away peacefully, March 16, 2015 at age 89. She was born January 4, 1926 in Abingdon, Iowa, the daughter of Frederick and Carrie Mowery Kreigh. Jean was predeceased by her husband of 63 years Ivan Wilbur Miller of Mendon and granddaughter Erica Forman. Survived by loving children and grandchildren; daughters, Sue (David) Schwaner, Beverly Dastgir, Sandra (Alan) Forman, Barbara (Steve) Perry, Wendy (Dale) Ryan, Cindy (Wayne) Minns; son, David (Kathryn) Miller; grand-daughters, Carrie and Melissa Ryan; several nieces and nephews. Jean was a graduate of Farson High School (Iowa) and Lindenwood University (St. Charles, MO). Jean was co-owner of Ivan Miller Inc. in Rush for over 40 years. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the many friends at Seabury Woods and to the compassionate staff at The Cottages at Unity Health for their thoughtful care of our mother. Friends are welcome to call at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, Friday, March 20th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Memorial Service Saturday March 21st, 10 am at Whitehaven Memorial Park, Creation Chapel, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford. Internment at the convenience of the family.
