Obituary of Ruth Marie Kern
Ruth Marie Kern, residing with her sister in law Margo DeVincentis of Honeoye Falls for the past several years, formerly of Irondequoit, died February 21, 2009 at age 88. Ruth was born the daughter of Albert and Mary Hertwick Kern on July 1, 1920 in Irondequoit, NY. She was predeceased by her brothers, Joseph and Robert Kern. Ruth was a Kodak employee for 30 years. She lived most of her life on Culver Rd. in Irondequoit.
Ruth is survived by her nephew Patrick Kern and his wife Elizabeth and her great nephew Benjamin Kern. Her sister in law and devoted caretaker Margo DeVincentis and also the Buschang family.
No prior calling. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 10 am in St. Cecelia's Church, 2732 Culver Road. Burial, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorials to, Lifetime Care Hospice of Rochester, 3111 Winton Road S. Rochester, NY 14623.
