Obituary of Barbara C. Marcus

Barbara C. Marcus age 74 of Mendon, NY died Thursday, November 9, 2023 after a long illness . She was born November 28, 1948 the daughter of the late Irving and Dorothy Spears Chichester.

Barb was a devoted golfer and was one of many, along with her husband, previous owner of the Mendon Country Club where she remained a member till her passing. She was an expert bowler, a kitchen designer, and worked and retired from Pittsford Tree and Landscape in Mendon.

Barb is survived by her husband of 55 years, Glenn. Brothers, Robert Chichester of Henrietta and Frederick Chichester of Livonia. Her sister, Ann (Paul) VanDeVelt of Lima,  along with several nieces, nephews and godchildren.

Friends may call Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 3-6 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to the Honoeye Falls Mendon Volunteer Ambulance or the Mendon Fire Department.
