Obituary of Mary B. Dunne

Mary B. Dunne of Ionia, NY died December 23, 2023 at age 85. She was predeceased by her husband James and her sons, Paul, and James. Mary is survived by her son John (Brandie) Dunne, daughter Jane Wagorn and daughter-in-law Karen Dunne. Grandchildren, Hannah and Gage Wagorn, Jacob Wadell, Nicholas, and Joshua (April) Dunne; great grandchildren, Aubree, James and Emma Dunne and several nieces and nephews.

Mary was a retiree of St. John's Nursing Home in Rochester where she had a longtime career in nursing. She was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star, holding multiple offices within the district and state. Over the years Mary maintained many lasting and loving relationships with neighbors and friends in her small tight-knit community. Mary was also a member of the Ionia United Methodist Church.

A Celebration of Mary's Life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11 am at the Ionia United Methodist Church, 2120 Elton Road, Ionia, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
