Obituary of Sandra A. Woods

Sandra Kelly Woods, 78 of Fairport NY, passed away peacefully in the early hours of April 4, 2024. She lived many years in Livonia NY, prior to Fairport. Sandra was predeceased by her parents James and Etta Kelly, her brother Timothy Kelly, and her beautiful little girl Bridget. She is survived by her son John Brent Woods (Kim), he was the light of her life, her niece Lori Burrows, along with many cousins and dear friends. She had the most stunning blue eyes, and a beautiful smile that would light up a room! Sandy loved to shop, go for rides, and any activities that included a stop for a "sweet treat"! Several memories she spoke of included her close friends. She loved all the dogs and cats, and enjoyed gardening too, she was so generous and thoughtful. She worked for many years at the historic Cartrights Inn in Henrietta NY, and spoke often of the fondness of everyone that worked there and came in to see her. Livonia had many of her memories and she spoke of it often as "back home". She will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her. Friends may call Wednesday April 10th from 11am-1pm at Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, 59 Monroe St, Honeoye Falls NY. Service immediately following at Merton H. Kays followed by a procession to St. Michael Cemetery in Livonia with graveside prayers . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Special Olympics, in memorial tribute of Sandy.
