I have many fond memories of Uncle Corky and Aunt Mary. No one ever called me Carrot except them. I pray that you will find comfort in the Lord during this difficult time. Blessings,

To Corky’s family
Our hearts are saddened that you loss your Dad so close to losing your Mom. But they now are together again. We knew both of them for many years. and always enjoyed talking to them. I was a waitress at the Family Diner in Honeoye Falls as my Dad ran it and then my sister. He would always come in to eat for lunch then often bring Mom later for dinner. Such good people. May the peace of God be with you all.

Corky was the best Fire Chief and friend a person could ever ask for. When I joined West Bloomfield fire dept. in 1969, Corky took me under his wing and taught me "almost" everything I needed to know about the volunteer fire service and life itself, and how to keep myself safe in emergency situations. He was an excellent mentor and a great friend. He will be missed by all.

My Aunt Shirley Freeman worked with Corky at Stever Locke for many years and she and my parents Dave(Jitter) and Marilyn Briggs spoke highly and kindly about him and Mary for as long as I can remember growing up. So many from that generation are missed and loved. Hope you find many smiles and memories through your tears during this time.
Sincerely,
Cheryl (Briggs) VanSon
