Some of my best memories, as a youth in my early 20s, was spending time at the Lenahan household. Both Mr. & Mrs. Lenahan always made all of us feel so welcome…mainly put up with us and our shenanigans for the evening. My distinct memory of Mr. Lenahan is coming into the kitchen, dropping a few one-liners on us young “hot-shots”, all of us laughing, then he’d retire to his family room where he’d sit and read for the evening. Even though I’m thoroughly now fulfilled with my own family, as an adult, I can’t help but look back and miss those times. He and Mrs. Lenahan were such dynamic and memorable people. I will miss the both of them.

You three sons have shown what truly special parents you had, and will always remember, as your beautiful written thoughts shared about your fathers life is one of the nicest tributes to a parent. Your grandmother, Jane Unruh, was a long time friend of my aunt, and an immediate intro for me to your mom and dad when your family relocated to HF. Your mother and I were good friends, your dad delivered special quaffs when I ordered, or shared a pleasant update if I dropped in at his store.
You, and your families, gave them such gifts via their experiences with their grandchildren. They adored you all and gained wonderful memories while they were here.
My sincere sympathy, you are fortunate to have such enriching recollections of your time with him and your mother - those stories stay with you forever.
