Kevin Craig Hartmann aka Moose, 67, of Pittsford, Ny, passed away and went home to Jesus on November, 1, 2024 in Rochester, NY.
A Memorial Service will be held at Merton H. Kays Funeral Home at 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, NY on Saturday, November 9th at 3:00 pm. We will have a casual gathering to remember our beloved Kevin. Eulogies from the family and shared stories from friends following.
Kevin was born in Schenectady, NY to Donald and Regina Hartmann on September 19th, 1957. Although he was born mentally challenged and lived a life dealing with seizures, he had a tremendous sense of humor and was as witty as they come. His love of family, friends, bowling, going to his day program... was what he lived for. He enjoyed a great life because he loved to the fullest and he was greatly loved in return. His biggest attributes was his smile, his humor and his unconditional love.
He is survived by his brother Brian Hartmann and sister-in-law Dee whom he lived with. His nephew Brandon Armes (Lea Hetherinton) and his two children, Penelope and Abram, along with several loving family members who embraced him into their lives with love.
Your love for Kevin does not need to be shown with flowers or donations. Your thoughts and prayers as you remember him is where our joy will rest.
The family wishes to thank The Jewish Home Adult Day Care Center of Rochester, NY for affording him the wonderful social life they provided. Also, Bowl-a-Roll in Henrietta, NY for embracing him with so much love and to all his fellow bowlers who befriended him into their hearts. A special thanks to all his friends at the Brongo Horseshoe League in Honeoye Falls, NY. Everyone who met Kevin was so kind and interactive with him on such a special level of friendship. Thank you to all of you for loving him and making him feel so cherished.
