Obituary of Karen L. Gibson

Karen L. Gibson of Avon, NY died November 22, 2014 suddenly at age 29. She was predeceased by her grandfather, Raymond Philio. Karen is survived by her husband Robert; children, Taylor and Robert "RJ" Gibson; parents, Thomas and Cindy Philio; brother Kenneth (Courtney) Philio; maternal grandparents, Mary (Robert) Symonds; paternal grandmother, Anne Marie Philio; nieces, Briton and MaKayla; nephews Nikolai, Ethan and Tommy; mother-in-law Carol (Wayne) Gibson Farley; father-in-law Donald (Lisa LoCastro) Gibson; sister-in-law Bridgette (Daryl) Knights and Maria LoCastro; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Also, her day care children. Friends may call TODAY, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wed. 10:30 am at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 6591 Richmond Mills Road, Livonia. Burial will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery, Avon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Agnes School, 60 Parkview Place, Avon, NY 14414.
