I will never forget the bright star that Wendy was in our lives!! She started out as a babysitter... Always doing more than asked and became a lifelong friend!!! I would not have known about her death but Maggie Burton sent me a note and included a card that Wendy had made which I Shall always cherish !!!
I hope Wendy is basking in the "pure love" that she deserves for all her kindnesses here on earth!!! Many many times I've thought of you Wendy and just wish I could have been nearbye to help in these last difficult years!! My love will always remain!!! My sympathy to all of your family and those who loved you!!!3

Wen,
It has been so hard since you passed away a few weeks ago . You were always the one to take care of everyone else on the family. Always putting your sisters a brothers needs in front of your own. As an adult , you were just as unselfish with Kyle and me,too. I remember when we would go to the movies for a night out, you would make sure my car started before your own. You had to make sure your "little" sister was safe and sound. As the Huntingtons disease progressed, you still tried to take care of me, when you struggled to take care of yourself and remain independent . You are the strongest person I've ever known, I only hope I can come close to being like you.
Love,
Kar

I wish I could be with you tonight and tomorrow to say Farwell to Wendy. We worked together at Kodak MEC and KBTV for years. She was a wonderful worker and friend. We had our child the same year. There were five of us that had kids within a 4 month span. The picture on line is exactly how I remember her. To Kyle - they don't come much nicer than your mom - - but I am sure you already know that.
Best regards, Holly Walkland

To Wendy's Family, I am saddened to learn of Wendy's passing. She worked for me at Hillside Children's Center back in the late 70's. We became very good friends and remained in contact while she worked at Kodak. I left the Rochester area in 2001 and we lost contact. I thought of her often and even tried to find her on Facebook. She was a wonderful lady with a very kind heart. You are all in my prayers.
