Obituary of Linda K. Hammond

Linda K. Hammond of Honeoye Falls, died Sunday, May 17, 2015. Linda was born January 15, 1945 in Hornell, NY. Her parents Arthur and D. Bernadene White predeceased her. She is survived by her loving husband, Donald G.; son Scott (Jamie) Hammond; and the true "loves of her life," her grandchildren Landon, Olivia and Avielle whom they called "Nanna." Of all the things in life that were important to "Mom", spending time with her family always came first. On the day she became ill, she had spent time with all of her immediate family at her grandson's baseball game. The game resulted in a win, and served as a fitting tribute to a person who also loved the game of baseball. She wouldn't have scripted her last day any differently. A private celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family (most likely looking over a baseball field). In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed in her memory to either of two organizations that will allow children to learn and enjoy playing sports: Honeoye Falls-Lima Mendon Youth Baseball, P.O.
