Obituary of Lois Anne Seiler

Lois Anne Seiler 71 of Englewood, FL, formerly Herndon, VA and Honeoye Falls, NY passed away June 15, 2015 after an eight month battle with cancer. Lois is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles "Pepper" Seiler; children Carla Zupan and David Seiler; 5-grandchildren: Denver and Mariah Zupan, Hanna, Madison, and Paige Seiler; Mother-in-Law Helen Seiler; and many cousins. She is predeceased by her parents Bob and Emma Sackett formerly of Honeoye Falls, NY Lois was born and raised in Honeoye Falls. NY In 1967 she married "Pepper" and the two immediately left Honeoye Falls for El Paso, TX and then transferred to Heidelberg, Germany for two years while Pepper served in the US Army. Their first child Carla, was also born in Germany. After two years, Lois returned to Honeoye Falls while Pepper completed his last year of military service in Vietnam. Their second child David, was born in 1972. During her time in Honeoye Falls, Lois enjoyed golf, bowling, cross country skiing, and going to Buffalo Bills football games with family and friends. Lois and Pepper remained in Honeoye Falls until 1990, when they relocated to Herndon, VA where they spent 21 years. Shortly after moving to Virginia Lois secured a position at the Reston Farm Market where she found her love and talent for horticulture. Not only did she become the "go-to" person in flowers and plants, she also developed a unique gift in custom wreath design. Over the years, Lois had a broad customer following who regularly sought her advice on flowers and plants and commissioned her for custom wreath designs, especially during the Christmas season and for other special occasions. In June of 2011, Lois and Pepper moved from Virginia to Florida. Over the past five years she had several battles with cancer, until her latest incident resulted in her passing. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, neighbors, and former associates at the Reston Farm Market.
