Obituary of Robert E. Eisenberg
Robert E. Eisenberg of Rush, NY passed away July 13, 2015 peacefully at home. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Cleo; infant granddaughter Brook and son-in-law Donnie Powell. He is survived by his daughters, Karen (Tom) McHale and Elaine Powell; grandchildren, Cindy Bishop, Robert Bishop, Thomas Welch, Amy (John) Morris, Jesse (Emily Renzoni) Powell, Rebecca (Dave) Rawleigh; great grandchildren, Riley, Coral, Colton, Gabriel, Austin, Tyler, Brandon, Jeffery and Gary.
Bob retired from R-H CSD in 1986 as Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds. He had many hobbies, fishing, hunting, woodworking, shooting, painting and golfing. Bob had a great love for Black Lake where he and his dog "Zeb" spent all of last summer. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone with a friendly smile. Bob will best be remembered for his great personality and taking everything in stride with "no problem." A special thank you to URMC Cardiac Team at Highland for their sincere dedication, concern and support.
Bob was a World War II Army Veteran; a life member of the Brooks Gun Club; the Stevens-Connors American Legion Post 1330 in Rush where he was past Commander and he was also a Mason.
Friends may call Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 4-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls where Services will be held Friday, July 17, 2015 at 12 pm. Burial Pine Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Veterans Outreach Center, 459 South Ave. Rochester, NY 14620.
