Obituary of Floyd F. Shearn

Shearn, Floyd F. "Fritz" South Livonia: November 19, 2008 at age 72. He was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Rebecca Shearn and his mother Isabelle Wrabbit Gibbs. Fritz was born in Watertown, NY and raised in Rochester. He was a 45 year resident of South Livonia. He was a Korean War Veteran of the US Army Reserve Special Forces and was a member of the National Guard. He was an instructor at West Point and was also a Mountaineering Instructor at Massawepie Boy Scout Camp. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Jim) Lochner, Deborah (Mark) Donahoe; grandchildren Jessica, Erin, Megan, Dane, Joseph and Patrick all of Honeoye Falls. Longtime friends, Dave Gibbs, Ev Witters, Tim Downey, Scott Rhodes and Bonnie (Montesano) Lotta. Friends may call today, November 21, 2008 from 3-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. His funeral will be held Saturday, November 22, 10 am at St. John's Episcopal Church, 11 Episcopal Ave, Honeoye Falls.
