Obituary of Shirley T. Arena

Shirley T. Arena, age 76 of Honeoye Falls, died, Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born the daughter of Walter and Rheba Proper Thomas on November 8, 1932 in Utica, NY. Shirley owned and operated the Sentinel Newspaper in Honeoye Falls. She survived by her husband Carl of Honeoye Falls, a son Kimberly T. Brown of Honeoye Falls, a daughter Lisa (Dean) Shellman of Honeoye Falls, 3 grandsons Michael (Summer) Shellman, Kyle Brown and Brandon Brown, 2 Great Grandchildren Sean and Lillian Shellman, 2 step children Gerald Arena of Arizona and Diane (Tom) Horan of CT, 2 step grandchildren Erin and Todd Arena, 3 Step Great Grandchildren Jeremy, Kevin, and Tim Horan. Friends may call from 2-5 and 7-9 on Friday April 17th at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home Inc. 59 Monroe St. in Honeoye Falls where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11am.
