Obituary of Mildred Parmelee

A. Mildred "Millie" Parmelee of Honeoye Falls, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at age 87. She was born the daughter of John and Anna Costello Shelly on June 22, 1925 in Livonia, NY. Millie was predeceased by her husband, Ronald (Red) in 2000, and her eight older siblings. Survived by her three children, Rodney (Harriet) Parmelee, Joan (Gordon) Smith, and Marilyn (Joseph) DeSain; four grandsons, Casey (Lil) and Shane Parmelee, Barry DeSain, and Scott Smith; many nieces and nephews and long-time friends. Millie was the Honeoye Falls Village Clerk for 23 years retiring in 1988; a member of the Village Clerks Association, Honeoye Falls Legion Auxiliary, and St. Paul's Rosary Society; and a parishioner at St. Paul's. Friends may call Thursday, December 27th, from 3-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home Inc., 59 Monroe St., Honeoye Falls, NY. A funeral mass will be held Friday, December 28th at 10 am at St. Paul of the Cross Catholic Church, 37 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls.
