Obituary of Edwin C. Nemitz

Edwin C. Nemitz of Lima, died, Thursday, June 18, 2009 at age 81. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley in 2006 and also his sisters Helen and Carol. Edwin was born the son of Carl and Lena Knaak Nemitz on December 15, 1927 in Canandaigua, NY. He was a retiree of Pinco Insulators in Lima and was a WW II Army Veteran. He is survived by his children, Edwin Nemitz of Canandaigua; Thomas (Joanne) Nemitz of FL; Rebecca (Roy) Steele of Conesus and Nancy (Russell) Dudash of Springwater. 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Sister, Florence (Arthur) Vogt of Henrietta. Several nieces and nephews. Friends may call today, Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 4-7 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Funeral Service will be held at the West Bloomfield Congregational Church, 9035 Routes 5 & 20 at 10 am on Monday, June 22. Burial, Oak Ridge Cemetery, Lima. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Church, P.O. Box 5, West Bloomfield, NY 14585 or to the Livingston County Hospice Fund, 2 County Campus, Mt.
