Richard C. Barrows of Rush, NY, died peacefully Saturday morning July 18, 2009 at age 82. He was born the son of Ralph and Margaret Rhode Barrows on April 2, 1927, in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine (Charles) Hughes of Rush; grandchildren, Thomas (Kelly) Hughes and Holli (Tom) Talone; great grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor and Jade Talone and several cousins, many friends, neighbors and his cat Gizmo.

Richard was a World War II Veteran. He had worked for Rochester Plumbing and retired from GM Rochester Products where he was an Acme Screw Machine operator for over 35 years.

Friends may call Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 5-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls, where a Service will be held Wednesday, July 22 at 10 am.
