Obituary of Esther L. Rumsey

Esther L. Rumsey of Honeoye Falls, died Monday, October 12, 2009 at age 90. She was born the daughter of Cornell and Nellie Fishell Lord on May 17, 1919 in Honeoye Falls, NY. She was a member of the Order of Easter Star, Chapter . Esther worked for many years as a secretary at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Duane; sons, Curtis and James. She is survived by her daughter in law, Beverly; grandchildren, Jason (Danielle) Rumsey and Joann (Joseph) Simpson. Great grandchildren, Mackenzie and Ashton Simpson; Brenna and Rylan Rumsey; sister, June Smith. Several nieces, nephews and friends. No prior calling. Friends may attend a Graveside Service, Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 2 pm at North Bloomfield Cemetery, Route 65 in North Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of ones choice.
