Obituary of James D. Krause

James D. Krause of Springwater, formerly of Honeoye Falls, died suddenly, Thursday October 22, 2009 at age 43. He was born the son of James and Donna Scantlin Krause on August 22, 1966 in Rochester, NY. He was a former member of St. Rose Church in Lima. James was employed by FedEx in Rochester. James was a Sergeant 1st Class with the US Army serving since 1988 and most recently serving his Country overseas in the Iraqi War. James has been state side for the last few years. He is survived by his wife, Melody; mother, Donna (Phil Langelier) Krause of Honeoye; father, James Krause of Victor; brother, Jeffrey (Maria) Krause of Webster; maternal grandmother, Janet Scantlin of Rochester; nieces, Sabrina and Alessia Paratore; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 4-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 26, 10:30 am at St. Rose Church, 1977 Lake Ave, Lima, NY. Burial, St. Rose Cemetery.
