Obituary of Brooke Starr Paquin

Brooke Starr Paquin of Rochester, formerly of Honeoye Falls and beloved daughter of Patti Paquin and sisters Jenna (Kenny) Towner and Andrea Paquin, tragically left us on December 12, 2009 to be with her father, David Paquin and devoted soul mate Tristan Hanna. She was 32. She was born the daughter of David and Patti Starr Paquin on June 1, 1977 in Rochester, NY. Her father, David, died in 2002. Brooke was a graduate of the University of Rochester where she earned a Bachelor's in Nursing and was a graduate of SUNY at Geneseo, earning her Bachelor's in Business. She was currently enrolled at the University of Rochester, where she was studying for her Masters to be a Nurse Practitioner. Brooke was a nurse in the Emergency Department at Highland Hospital. She is also survived by her grandmother, Janice Kitchen; grandparents, Robert and Catherine Paquin; special aunts, uncles and cousins. Brooke was a loving aunt to Kayla and Brayden. She was our star, and our strength whose vibrant spirit and smile touched us all. Her love of life, family, and friends will remain in our hearts forever. Friends may call Thursday, December 17, 2009 from 4-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc., 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, December 18, 2009 in St. Rose Catholic Church, 1977 Lake Ave. Lima at 11 am. Private burial will take place in St. Rose Cemetery, Lima. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brooke Paquin Scholarship Fund at University of Rochester School of Nursing, SON Advancement, 300 East River Road, Box 278996, Rochester, NY 14627.
