Obituary of Larry Gene Abbott

Larry G. Abbott of Henrietta and formerly of Mendon died Sunday, January 13, 2013 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 62 . He is survived by wife Barbara "Bobbi"; his children, Jason Abbott (Laurie), Michelle (Jerome) Thornton, and Kyle Abbott. Grandchildren, Matthew and Jacob Abbott and Whitney, Destiney, Bethaney and Raymond Leach; his mother, Dorothy Abbott. Predeceased by his father, Richard Abbott Sr. Larry is from a family of 10 including those closest to him, brothers, Ronald, Wayne, Gerald (Cathy) and predeceased by Dalton. Also survived by favorite nieces, Debbie (Steve) Kuitems and Allyn (Joe) Canute. Friends may call Friday, January 18, 2012 from 4-8 pm at the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls. Services will be held Saturday 2pm at the Honeoye Falls United Methodist Church.
