Obituary of Ruth J. Dorau

Ruth J. Dorau of West Bloomfield, NY died January 6, 2010 at her home. Rush was 93. She was born the daughter of James and Zora Schurr Dawley on April 27, 1916 in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Norman; son James and granddaughter Ellen Dorau. She is survived by her son, Larry (Marcy) Dorau of Star Prairie, WI; daughter, Martha (Bill) Eberle of Rotterdam Junction, NY; daughter in law, Nanci Dorau of Orlando, FL; 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 nephew and several nieces; also, her loving friend and caretaker, Mary Smith. Ruth was a graduate of the U of R and worked for many years for the Monroe County Chest Clinic. She retired as a supervisor in 1975. She was a member of the West Bloomfield Congregational Church. No prior calling. Friends may attend Services, Monday, January 11, 2010 at the West Bloomfield Congregational Church, 9035 Routes 5 & 20 at 11 am. Private burial in West Bloomfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church, P.O. Box 5, West Bloomfield, NY 14585.
