Obituary of Edith F. West

Edith Faye West of Honeoye Falls, died January 8, 2010 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. She was 75. Edith was born June 21, 1934 in Naticoke, PA, the daughter of Harvey and Ruth Womesdorf Stewart. She retired from Emmerson Electric (former Rittenhouse Electric) in Honeoye Falls. She was predeceased by her brother, Harvey Stewart, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Thomas; daughters, Lisa (John) Smillie of Brighton, Beverly (Ed) Leach of Ozark, AL; grandchildren, Mackenzie and Caroline Smillie; Andrew, Zachary and Jordan Leach; brother, Kenneth Stewart of NJ; sister in law Ann Stewart of PA; brother in law, Arthur (Bernice) West of PA. Several nieces and nephews and her very dear friend, Mary Lou Fuller. Edith was a member of the Honeoye Falls United Methodist Church, the Honeoye Falls Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the Honeoye Falls Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Friends may call Wednesday, January 13, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm a the Merton H. Kays Funeral Home, Inc. 59 Monroe Street, Honeoye Falls where Services will be held Thursday, January 14 at 11 am. Burial, Honeoye Falls Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Honeoye Falls Fire Department, 7 Monroe Street or to the Honeoye Falls United Methodist Church, 31 East Street, Honeoye Falls, NY 14472.
