Aunt Mary was my Godmother of 54 years! When I think of her I think of how God describes a "virtuous woman" in the Bible. ("Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies....Strength and honor are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her." Proverbs 31:10, 25-28)
Aunt Mary was "one of a kind" in so many ways.... She was always thankful in her speach and manner, and always cognicant of her Heavenly Father... She was always abundantly hospitable and cheery when ever we would come to her house and visit. Circumstances, aches and pains didn't seem to matter to her because she always made it a point to be more concern about how you were doing... Wow, what a giving heart! She simply stayed positive and complimentary in her manner in spite of...that's a great sign of the thankful heart she had. She had so much to give and that's why she lived a century... God had a lot of work for her caring soul...
We learned lots from Aunt Mary and we are better people for having the opportunity to have known her...and we thank her for that!
May the good Lord multiple her rest and peace for giving her whole life!
Our sympathy and continual prayers are with the Mamoone and Rotunda family!
We love you,
Sincerely,
Nephew Gary and Polly Rotunda

Mary, "Mom", Grandma was the epitome of a good and Christian woman. She opened her arms, her heart, her home
and her table to all who were fortunate to be part of her rich life. Through her example she taught us how to handle all life's happiness and sadness with dignity and courage. She loved all of us as we love her and she showed it every day of her life. she will always be with us in our hearts and in our wonderful memories.
God's Garden
God looked around His garden and He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you, and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful, He aways takes the best.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn' go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. Anon.
Love, Cathy

One of the best memories that I have is when I used to visit her when she was still in her house and my grandpa would always bring her some pasta. She always said "have some". The angels that she gave me when ever i went to visit will always remind me of her!! I LOVE YOU GRANDMA MARY!!!

My prayers and condolences go out to my brother in law Tom and the entire Mamoone family on the loss of their dear Mother. Mary was a grand matriarch who always welcomed everyone to her home and made you feel as if you were her family. Personally I remember a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner spent at Mary and Joe's home many years ago where there was plenty of great food and company. Family was the most important to her and although she will be sorely missed, her legacy lives on through her family. She would want all to celebrate her life and not to be overly sad as she is now with the Lord and her beloved husband Joe and will always be with you in your heart.

What can one say about Mary Mamoone. There are many words to describe her. Family, Love, Kindness, devout, Smile, Christmas Eve,Gum Drops, and many, many more~~ I for one am so lucky to have had her in my life~~ She taught us all by example that Family came first. My own Dad was her baby brother, and how she loved him. Thank you Aunt Mary for all of the Christmas Eve's we shared with you and your family. Thank you for being you and a role model for all of us. Thank you for the fun times in Old Forge. You are now with Uncle Joe, Delores and Joe Jr, your Mom & Dad and all of your sisters and brothers that went before you. I am sure that there is one grande picnic going on right now. We will miss you Aunt Mary, but you will always be in my heart.Love you all ~~

I just wanted to offer heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your mother, Mary. I remember working with her as her case manager through CFC for many years. She was always a delight to talk with on the phone & visit with on home visits. Mary was so fortunate to have such a close & loving family as, I'm sure, these past years were a challenge for all. You're all in my thoughts at this difficult time. Sincerely, Linda Moffitt (retired CFC)
