Marjorie and Ed were great role models for me as I grew up. They touched my mother's life as well.

Dear Carol
I am deeply sorry with the passing of your mom. She was my kindergarten teacher on Bay Road. My mom, Della Wollschleger babysat you while your mom taught school . Do you remember her? I remember you when you were little. I have fond memories of your mom being my teacher. God Bless you and your family with your loss.

My mother was a Petrie .. dtr of John & Lulu Petrie in Tuscarora, NY. Marjorie's husband Edward would have been, I believe, a cousin to my mother, Mabel Petrie (Love). At any rate, I recall Edward and Marjorie being in the Dansville area - along with Jack and Joyce Petrie. We used to go to see Nellie Petrie, mother of Edward, Jack, Lydia. I corresponded with Lydie for several years before her passing - and was at her funeral in Dansville, NY.
My condolences to all of Marjorie's family.
