Obituary of Roland C. Vander Ven

Roland C. VanderVen of Ionia, died suddenly, Friday April 16, 2010. He was 76. He was born the son of Charles and Jeanette VerHage VanderVen on February 9, 1934 in Holland, Michigan. He was a 2nd Lt. in the Army serving from 1957 to 1965. Roland was predeceased by his grandson, Cameron Barnes. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Joanne; his children, Tara (Curt) Barnes, Todd (Kathleen) VanderVen, Elana (Allen) VanderVen-Lentz; grandchildren, Erin, Christopher, Warren, Britton, Hanna, Logan, Rachel and Tristan; brother, John (Jane) VanderVen; several nieces, nephews and extended family. He retired from Meyers Campers in Caledonia. Friends may call Monday, April 19, 2010 from 4-7 pm at the family home, Asparagus Junction, 8310 County Road 14, Ionia, NY.
